She received an A.B. degree from the IL Wesleyan University in 1900 and
taught for some years, after which she conducted parties of school girls
on European tours. During the war she was engaged in the Military
Intelligence Division of the War Department. On 3/20/1924 she married
Edward Cyrus Stone.
